A wall bed IKEA, folds up against or into a wall. William Murphy designed these beds more than a hundred years ago to create a comfortable place to sleep but still be able to entertain the guests. These beds are popular in small studio apartments where space is limited or in homes where a home office doubles as a guest room.
Rollaway bed ikea,
This wall bed saves space by functioning as a couch during the day and a bed at night. Some even have a shelf to show or save records. The bed folds vertically against the wall with a frame to hold it in place. A small sofa, complete with a horizontal shelf, rests against this folded up bed. If you would like to use the bed, pull the shelf towards you as you lower the bed. When the bed is in place, the shelf rests on two legs.
The wall table and bed is another acceptable way to save space. The folded out table fits one or two people. It can also work as a desktop. Fold the table up before you drag the bed down to sleep. Alternatively pull the table away so that it rests horizontally when the bed is folded upward. Some versions have a mirror on one side of this table.
